Here's a quick guide on how to add a Chat Overlay to your stream with OBS.
First, go to Creator Studio > Stream Tools then copy Chat Overlay.
Now head to OBS and add a New Source to the Scene you want to add your Chat Overlay to.
A window will pop up where you will paste the URL you copied from Creator Studio.
Once you paste the URL, you can click "Ok" and place the browser source Chat Overlay where you like.
Here are some things to note! We suggest that you do not resize the Chat Overlay, instead go to Properties of the browser source and modify the height & width values.
You can also modify the time chat messages appear on screen in the URL you pasted.
ttl (time to live) is in seconds, so by default a message will appear on screen for 10 seconds then disappear. You can edit this to the length you desire.
animate is if chat messages are animated or not (the sliding animation), you can turn this off by changing "true to "false".
